Ralph Melton

Candidate for City Council Ward 1

As a life long resident of Norwood I am tired of Abandoned Houses, Unruly Households, Crumbling Streets, Insufficient Economic Development, Drugs, Crime, and the Decaying of our Community.

It is time for a change.

It is time for True Representation in West Norwood.

Steve Thornbury

City Council Ward 2

Steve Thornbury was elected to Norwood City Council in 2007 on the promise of helping protect property values, support strong police, fire and other city services, and to improve communications between citizens and their government. As a member of the Streets and Infrastructure, Parks and Recreation, and Safety, Police and Fire Committees, Steve has made it his job to keep all citizens informed of what their local government is doing to improve our City and their lives. To speak directly with Steve Thornbury regarding any issues and/or concerns call 373-9653.

Tom Whittington

Candidate for City Council Ward 3

John Breadon

Candidate for City Council Ward 4

John Breadon has lived in Norwood for many years and built solid friendships while working for worthy community causes.  You might know John best from his involvement in sports.  As a gifted athlete John has played, managed and coached many sports.  He is also involved in Norwood High School band as a Band Dad and self proclaimed Band Geek.  He enjoys working with the kids and they enjoy working with him.  He makes it fun.  John was involved with Scouting in Norwood and like all Cub Scout Dad’s got way to involved in the Pinewood derby and Space derby.  John has been a small business owner for many years with a home improvement contracting business.  He understands the challenges to keep a business going strong and keep food on the table for a family.  John is working to be the Councilman for Ward 4.  He feels strongly that Ward 4 needs to be represented on Council with a person that has a can do attitude.  Current representation is weak on Ward 4 and he feels we need a candidate that will push for infrastructure improvement as well as safety and security improvements for WARD 4.  His motto is “Forward 4”.  Let’s get someone that wants to improve our part of the city.
