Tom Whittington
Candidate for City Council Ward 3

A long time resident of Norwood. Tom lived with his parents Jim and Rita Whittington on Indian Mound Ave. until he married his wife Darlene of 36 years. He raised to children Tim and Amy and is the proud grandparent to Aiden and Olivia. He attended Sts. Peter and Paul Grade School, Purcell High School, Cincinnati Technical College and the University of Cincinnati.
Worked 26 years in the private sector in a Manufacturing Engineering role. Eighteen of those years with the Allis Chalmers Corporation and ITT Corporation. Tom specialized in the revitalization of factories through modernization and flow control. Managing both Union and Non-Union workforces and complying to budgetary constraints. An additional eight years was traveling around the country and the world helping other facilities upgrade their technology.
Upon leaving the private sector purchased additional properties in Norwood for both rental and rehabilitation. Presently own 15 rental units and rehabbed 3 single family dwellings. I take pride in being a hands-on Landlord.
Looking forward to serving the residence of Ward 3 on the Norwood City Council next year.
